These speakers are awesome!. I installed these with a Kenwood deck in a 2000 Dodge Neon. They provide great full range sound with great, not overpowering bass. The mids and highs are crisp and provide excellent enhancement to vocals. I would recommend these speakers every day and twice on Sunday for an outstanding mid price range replacement speaker that competes well with speakers twice the price. -- Oooooo Yeah!

I put these in the rear of my 1984 Corvette along with a matching set of Infinity 6 1/2 speakers in front. They are connected to a Kenwood deck and no external amplification. I am very impressed with the sound quality. I am an avid audiophile and very hard to please. I was expecting to add amps and subs, which still may come later. But with the exceptional sound, I have no reason to do so. The 6x9's have adequate bass. Obviously not as much as dedicated subs but there is plenty of bass present and they do not leave me longing for more. Don't be afraid to invest in these speakers they will not disappoint you! -- Great sounding speakers

I installed these speakers to replace the dry rotting paper cones in my Saab 9-3. The metal supports behind the speaker didn't fit into the holes, so I spent a few hours with a Dremmel tool making them fit. This was my fault, ignoring the fit guides on crutchfield,(that's a good place to check for that sort of thing) but the result was well worth the extra work. These speakers are fantastic. they sound very precise, but still smooth. They are worth their price tag, but buying used is a great option as well. You should always solder your new connections. You should be aware that installing clean, precise speakers will lose you a little bit of the system's bass, so you shouldn't be expect to blow out any windows, but the sound that flows from these things will assure you that your money was well spent. buy them! -- Infinity's precision

Installed these in an '03 Galant (not easy, had to remove the back seat and roof support covers) and they sound great. Replaced oem Infinity speakers (cheap paper cones) and the sound is very clear and very loud. Could not produce distortion at high volumes (but I'm not a teenager anymore). I don't think you can find a better speaker in this price range. -- These speakers are great!

I absoloutely love these 6x9's They fit perfectly in my '72 Chevelle rear deck and I used the plain black "old school" stamped metal grilles instead to hide what I got and make everything look stock. You already know the Infinity Reference series sound is incredibly accurate -- but I was amazed at the efficiency of 2.65 Ohms! I am running an old stock Pioneer AM/FM/Casette from the 70's without an amp and it sounds louder and cleaner even with the windows down while cruising down the highway. Ordered 2 more sets for my other cars... -- I like these Guys!!!
